Geia sas/hello. I figured I'd check in here and leave a post. I've been on here for awhile, but only started using the site recently, mostly the Quick Notes. I've wrote a very extensive profile, so I won't bore you guys with the details, but here's a quick rundown (please check for full info if you're interested). I'm 23 (though I like to hang out with older people), am totally blind, a college graduate, live in America but love everything Greek, (especially rebetika), love cooking from scratch, enjoy coffee, tea and tobacco, have several hobbies, am honest and am looking for friends, especially Greek ones. I already have a boyfriend, so am not seeking a relationship. Anyway, hope to talk soon, and please feel free to comment and ask questions.

Hi, I’m Glenn from Texas. I’m sorry I don’t know much about the Greek culture, other than that I love the food. Hope you have a good time here at the zone, and give a shout if you’d like to chat.

I agree with Nikos in post 4 above. (Right…sure!)

I do love the books of Mary Renault, does that count?

Anyway welcome. Hope you have a good time here.

To the rest of you, thanks for the warm welcome! I hope to get to know you better as time goes on. I'll try to do more posting on the boards, though I'm more than addicted to chatting right now (which is probably why I haven't done my lesson today... woops).

Now, I'm honestly curious: does what's in post ten actually mean something to, say, Nikos?

Post 12 by Eleni21 (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 30-Nov-2007 23:31:34

Yes, it was in Greek, using the Greek alphabet.

Well, all I know about Greek culture is a bit about the Greek gods, that gyros are fuckin good, and baklava is messy, and quite tasty as well. I'd like to sample some more Greek music though, I loved the little i've heard. Oh, i should mention that I'm Daniel, living in San Diego. Welcome, feel free to contact me.
